Ram is a Dutch Shepherd with the Melbourne Police Department who is currently in school; when he graduates he will be patrol and drug certified. He carries a meaningful name in honor of Cpl. Ramzziddin of the Prince George’s County Police Department in Maryland, who was shot and killed while protecting a neighbor during a domestic situation. Calm and focused, Ram is building the skills he will put to use as a patrol- and drug-certified K9. Off duty he enjoys relaxing in his kennel and cooling off in his pool on hot days.
