OzGroot is a Dutch Shepherd serving as a dual-purpose K9 with the Perry Police Department. He was acquired through a grant from OZ Lifting Products LLC of Winona, MN, an organization that assists police departments in purchasing K-9s, and was purchased through Code Blue LLC of Rushford, MN, owned by Trace Erickson; OzGroot belonged to Trace before the Perry Police Department acquired him. Off duty, OzGroot enjoys sleeping, going on walks, being told he’s the goodest boy, belly rubs, and playing with his Kong.
