Tyson is a Belgium Malinois with the Kemah Police Department, trained for narcotics detection and apprehension. Tyson served with U.S. Border Patrol BORTAC teams before coming to Kemah PD. Tough, dedicated, and hard working, Tyson literally eats and sleeps police work, bringing focus and drive to every task. As a working K9, he performs both narcotics detection and apprehension duties across the department and is certified with NNDDA for Narcotics and Apprehension, reflecting his professional training and readiness. Off duty, Tyson softens into a loving companion who enjoys sleep and being loved on after long hours of demanding service.
