K9 Stryker is a 1 year old Belgian Malinois with the Vallejo Police Department, trained for apprehension and detection of firearms and ammunition. A fast learner, Stryker has already located four firearms while working alongside his, demonstrating the focus and capability required for his assignments. Off duty, he enjoys walks to the park and playing fetch, returning to work with the energy and drive that make him effective on the job. Stryker’s combination of training, temperament, and proven detection ability has made him a valued member of the department’s K9 team.
