Dale is a Belgian Malinois GSD mix serving as a working K9 with the Vernal City Police Department. He is trained for narcotics detection, patrol, and tracking, and as a new dog is certified in the State of Utah in narcotics detection and Patrol, having completed his certifications on 03/17/2026. Dale is a big, lovable goofball who will do anything for his tug and a good ear rub. Off duty he loves to lounge in the sun and roll in the grass, enjoying simple canine pleasures when he’s not on duty.
