K9 Rookie is a 2-year-old German Shepherd with the Sacramento Police Department in Sacramento, CA. He is a very nice dog with a great on/off switch—able to work looking for bad guys and then come home to cuddle up next to his family's 3-year-old daughter. At work his favorite toy is a tug; at home he relaxes with a stuffed alligator, and when he gets home he usually walks the property and eats.
