K-9 Radar was a dog I inherited from a handler who was fired. When I first received Radar, he had massive trust issues, always expected to be punished, and had never received any affection. Since having Radar, he’s come alive in a sense and has been extremely happy. Work is now fun, he gets affection all day every day, and has found enjoyment in his job again. Other handlers who knew Radar before I had him constantly tell me that he used to have no obedience or love for his handler and now our new problem is that he has too much obedience and love for his handler. His favorite toys are tugs and balls! In Radar’s off time, he loves jumping in my lap and snuggling, going on walks, or playing fetch in the arena!I have just recently inherited K-9 Radar and I am awaiting a handler certification course which starts next month so we currently do not have many achievements.
