K9 Draigo certified in narcotic detection and tracking on March 5, 2026, and graduated from his K-9 school the next day on March 6, 2026. K9 Draigo is a 100-pound GSD/Mal mix that loves to hunt anything. He constantly has his nose to the ground or on things looking to be paid with his favorite toy...anything I throw his way. It doesn't matter whether it's a Kong, Jute Tug, or a ball with a rope, he goes crazy for it. K9 Draigo has a fancy kennel that was custom built to match our cabin in the woods. On his days off he likes to bark at any animal that has the audacity to move around in his woods.K9 Draigo's first day on the job was yesterday's departmental K9 unit training day. He is looking forward to catching bad guys and getting drugs out of our city.
