Kane is a German Shepherd assigned to the Weber County Sheriff’s Office, serving as an apprehension dog and performing narcotics detection. He is also a member of the U.S. Marshal Violent Fugitive Strike Team. Kane has already assisted in numerous drug seizures and in the safe apprehension of numerous violent and armed felons. Off duty, Kane enjoys kicking back and relaxing, finding sticks in his backyard, and playing with his Kong toy. His combined patrol and detection duties, along with his strike-team role, reflect the range of responsibilities he fulfills for public safety.
