Ezop is a seven year old Belgian Malinois from the Czech Republic. He is dual-purpose (drug detection/patrol) and is also the SWAT dog for our agency. Ezop is very social and clear-headed. He has had many successful apprehensions as well as large drug and money seizures during his career so far.
In his spare time, Ezop loves playing with a jolly ball and wrestling with his brother, an English Bulldog named Pudge. Ezop loves participating in demonstrations for the public and school kids, especially showing off his fancy obedience commands.Ezop and I have received numerous detection and patrol awards at K9 seminars and competitions. We have received approximately ten 1st, 2nd or 3rd place awards in both categories from the annual Dothan PD K9 Seminar. We were also awarded the "Top Dog" position at the 2023 Mobile PD K9 Seminar, which involved a three mile cross-country course that required detection, patrol, shooting, etc.
