K9 Vader is a 3.5-year-old German Shepherd with the Cleveland Division of Police in Cleveland, Ohio. Off duty he enjoys hikes, swimming in lakes or rivers, long car rides, and any toy—his favorite is a frisbee. He holds OPOTA certification in Explosive Odor Detection, Tracking, Apprehensions, Searches, Obedience, and Handler Protection.
