K9 Sable is a dual purpose K9 for the Sweeny Police Department. She had been with Sweeny since 2021. Sable is very energetic and loves Kong toys. On her off time she loves to jump in the swimming pool, an play with used basketballs. She’s a very sweet, but hard working K9.She has helped her handler with over 300 narcotic arrests since she started in Sweeny and is still going! She’s a huge asset to the City of Sweeny. Sable has also helped her handler represent Officer of the Year 3 different times for Brazoria County. K9 Sable has also helped seize large amounts of cash and multiple vehicles for the City of Sweeny.
