K9 Rico is a 4-year-old Malinois with the Lathrop Police Department in Lathrop, CA. He is fun, energetic, and goofy; he enjoys chest scratches, hugging people, and loves all animals. On days off he relaxes with his family, enjoys zoomies in the backyard, plays with his orange water floatie Kong, and loves riding in the police car with mom. He is K9 tracking certified and serves in apprehension and patrol detection.
