Rico is a German Shepherd assigned to the Chesterfield County Sheriff Office. His duties include patrol, narcotics detection, articles, tracking, and apprehensions. He is very, very high-energy, sweet, and a hardworking patrol dog, bringing focused drive alongside a gentle temperament to his role. Off duty, Rico loves playing with his toys and playing in his big metal tub of water, showing a playful, relaxed side. These qualities—energy, sweetness, and dedication—make Rico a valued working dog and also a very handsome boy within the Chesterfield County Sheriff Office.
