My K9 is the son I never had. Rex is extremely smart, super energetic, and very loving. When we are off duty, he loves to play fetch, and if I let him run to exhaustion would do that all day. Because of his genetics, he doesn't really like to sit still and would rather be standing, playing with me or my daughters (his sisters) whenever possible while in the house. His favorite toy is his Kong, preferably red. Rex is awesome and is always looking to work his engine "Drive" is always on.Rex and I are a fairly new K9 team, but we have managed to accomplish quite a bit. In our short time from K9 school, we successfully apprehended, from three deployments, a total of four subjects. The first was a burglar suspect who surrendered inside another person’s home. Another time, three armed males were fleeing from a vehicle.
