Rancor is a love bug of a dog. He love’s everyone that will give him some attention. He’s a very social dog that has a wonderful on/off switch when it comes time to work. When he comes home he can often be found laying on his back with his paws in the air cooling himself off and waiting for his next meal.

His favorite game to play is hide and seek. he often times loves searches for his favorite ball on a string. Once he finds it, he loves for you to play tug (he always wins). He’ll run back to you and want you to keep tugging on the string.Rancor and his handler are newly certified in narcotic detection and in the near future be certified in tracking missing/wanted people and apprehension.

Rancor is the first k9 in the history of the town and will be used occasionally with the regional swat team when needed in the area, being the first in that capacity in the area as well.
