Qwerti is a multi-purpose K9 being certified in Narcotics, Tracking, Articles, and biting. He has been with the Department for almost 2 years, and I am his second handler. I am his second handler because his first handler had personal issues and was unable to be part of the K9 unit. Parkersburg has had a steady incline in violent crime, and it continues to rise. I do not currently have a stab-proof or bulletproof vest for him. Qwerti spends most of his off time being lazy. He loves going to work, but as soon as he gets home, he is either bouncing off the walls or passed out asleep; he doesn't have an in-between. He is a great dog, and I am very excited for what he will become.
Thank you for your time.
