Loki is a 1-year-old German Shepherd/Belgian Malinois cross assigned to the Kandiyohi County Sheriff's Office in Willmar, MN. He is notably mellow for a Malinois cross and very sociable, often wanting to play with every dog he meets; off duty he enjoys roughhousing with his handler's three female German Shepherds (ages 8, 4, and 1) and chewing elk antlers and beef shank bones. Loki and his handler completed their basic K9 course at the end of May and won a competition for top dual-purpose dog out of six dogs.
