Lobo is high energy, but very even-tempered. He loves to go on runs on his days off and wear himself out. He is very toy-driven and loves playing with Kongs on a rope and tug toys. In his rare calm moments, he enjoys spending time with his handler and finding new ways to solve problems presented to him. He is most happy at work and training when he gets to find bad guys and hidden contraband.Lobo is presently in training at Echelon K9 in San Diego and excels in searches and detection. Lobo learns quickly and will be certified for patrol and detection of firearms, invasive mussels, lobster, and deer. Lobo will be assigned to Los Angeles County, locating concealed wildlife and assisting game wardens and allied agencies in their investigations.
