K9 Kiro and I graduated from MacDounough K9 in the beginning of July 2025. We have been working the road together for approximately one month. Kiros favorite activity at work is riding with me in my patrol vehicle and resting his head on my open hand while I am driving. Kiro will often try and lick my face while I am driving, and it is very hard to tell him to stop! Kiros ideal day would be to go to work with me, then come home and go for a walk with his dog-brother. After every walk Kiro enjoys laying in the yard and chewing on the biggest stick he can find, or better yet, a bone. I am extremely fortunate to have a working dog that can excel in the field while also having an off switch. Kiro loves getting pets from my family, and aims to please anyone who will give him treats or play with him. He really is the best partner!Kiro and I have not received any achievements yet in our short career. However, the future is extremely bright for this talented pup.
