K-9 Kilo is a certified police service dog assigned to patrol and narcotics detection duties. On duty, Kilo is a focused, driven working dog trained in tracking, building searches, article searches, and narcotics detection. He routinely assists in locating suspects, recovering evidence, and supporting patrol operations, and he is known for his strong work ethic, clear alerts, and reliability during deployments.

Off duty, Kilo has a completely different personality. He enjoys downtime with his handler, spending time playing w/his Kong on rope, and being a loyal companion. Whether it’s training days, patrol shifts, or time at home, Kilo seamlessly balances the intensity of police work with the heart of a family dog.

K-9 Kilo proudly represents the dedication, professionalism, and bond between handler and K-9 that serves and protects the community every day.Over the past 10 months, K9 Kilo has demonstrated exceptional performance and reliability, completing 115 deployments that resulted in the seizure of approximately 2,100 grams of narcotics and contributing directly to 38 arrests. K9 Kilo’s consistent effectiveness, accuracy, and impact on public safety played a significant role in these outcomes. In recognition of this outstanding work and dedication to duty, K9 Kilo & I were awarded Officer of the Month for May 2025.
