Grizzly is a 6-year-old German Shepherd with the Rhode Island Environmental Police in Providence, Rhode Island, and is NAPWDA-certified as a police utility dog; he enjoys belly rubs, lots of attention, hiking in the woods, and time in the backyard, with favorite toys that include tugs and Kongs, and at home he patrols the house to keep an eye on his family—on duty he has tracked multiple armed poachers and located evidence of poaching.
