Dave is the newest member of the City of Amsterdam police department. In the short time we have spent together he has made it clear that he loves his long walks and his kong toys! Dave has shown me that he is dedicated an loyal. Dave loves to be around people, but also has a high drive and is always looking for work to be done.Dave is new to the department so starting on September 15, 2025 Dave and I will be attending the K9 academy together to seek his patrol certification. Dave will also be recertified in explosive detection. While being a member of the Montgomery County Regional SWAT team Dave will also be assigned to assist the team with future operations.
