Blue is a high energy and loyal working dog. Blue Loves playing fetch with ball on a rope and having his belly rubbed.K9 Blue serves on the Fort Wayne Police Department (FWPD), which is located in NE Indiana. Blue has located a missing endangered child and apprehended several suspects. K9 Blue is also trained for narcotics detection and has located large amounts of narcotics while responding to calls for service. Additionally, FWPD K9s support the Fort Wayne Community School's Safety and Security Office by providing K9 teams at the request of high school and middle school administrators for the implementation of the joint K9 School Drug Interdiction Program.
