Blitz is a Malinois mix with the Melbourne (FL) Police Department who works in patrol and narcotics detection. Full of energy and eager to work, he especially enjoys tracking and drug detection. Although he can be a little aggressive at times, Blitz is truly a sweetheart to his team. Since he started two years ago, Blitz has recorded 36 non-bite apprehensions and 2 physical apprehensions. Off duty, he enjoys getting brushed, chasing squirrels in the backyard, and rolling in piles of leaves — simple joys that help recharge this hardworking K9 between shifts.
