K-9 Bandit is a dual-purpose police K-9 trained and certified in patrol and detection work. Bandit has completed extensive training in obedience, agility, tracking, area and building searches, article searches, and handler protection. He is also trained and certified in narcotics detection, with proven reliability and focus during deployments. Bandit routinely assists in suspect searches, vehicle and property investigations, providing a critical asset to officer safety and effective law enforcement operations.

When he’s off duty, Bandit flips the switch from working dog to family protector. He can usually be found laid out on his nugget couch, keeping a watchful eye on his sisters as they run around — never missing a beat and never taking his eyes off them. Even at home, Bandit stays true to his role: calm, loyal, and always alert.Bandit and I Just recently graduated in September of 2025, but looking forward to a long list of achievements and awards!
