Our Spring fundraiser is in full bloom!

Aseni

Aseni has received a vest thanks to your support!

K9 Aseni off duty spends his time going on walks but his favorite activity is chasing his brother (a 30lbs ausie doodle mini) around the yard. K9 Aseni's favorite toy is his Kong. A big part of his daily routine is receiving a visit by my two year old daughter who loves helping out and feeding him, sometimes I believe he likes her more than he likes me.On the second day after graduation K9 Aseni was premiered on the Des Moines news station for his work on a long article search following a highspeed chase ending in a horrific crash. K9 Aseni located a bundle of suspected crystal methamphetamine approximately a mile away from the crash site. K9 Aseni located this bundle hours after the crash and never quick working. A few days later he was deployed on the wrecked vehicle and alerted to the driver side door. Inside the vehicle I located an identical bundle of suspected crystal methamphetamine totaling approximately 50 grams combined.

On new years day K9 Aseni and I responded to a suspected overdose at the local gas station bathroom. On scene I successfully deployed narcan to the victim. After words we found that the victim injected himself with fentanyl, K9 Aseni was deployed around the vehicle to assure the family no additional narcotics remained in the vehicle. K9 Aseni and I received a life saving award.
