K9 Anna is a 1.9-year-old mixed shepherd imported from Hungary. She was purchased from K2 K9 Solutions in North Carolina at the beginning of this year and is currently assigned to the Patrol Division. Despite her young age, K9 Anna has already made an impressive impact in the field. She has successfully sniffed and alerted to more than two kilograms of cocaine for a federal agency and has assisted in multiple patrol-based vehicle sniffs, resulting in the seizure of illegal narcotics, drug paraphernalia, and U.S. currency. In addition to her narcotics work, K9 Anna has also played a key role in locating fleeing suspects.
Beyond her professional accomplishments, K9 Anna has become a beloved figure in the community. Children are always excited to see her, and she happily returns the affection with tail wags and kisses. Her favorite toy—without question—is a ball of any size, and she’ll never pass up the opportunity for a good game.
When off duty, K9 Anna continues to live life in “super mode,” showcasing her endless energy and enthusiasm. She enjoys spending time with her two human brothers, often insisting on a spirited game of tug-of-war. Whether on or off duty, K9 Anna brings drive, loyalty, and joy to everyone around her.• Successfully completed K9 Handler School and earned IPWDA (International Police Work Dog Association) certification in our respective field.
