Ace is a German Shepherd with the Warwick Police Department serving as a dual-purpose K9. He is certified in narcotics through NAPWDA and is currently in patrol school to expand his duties. Ace is known for having an "on/off switch"—when he is home he is calm and very social—and off duty he enjoys playing ball in the backyard. That combination of certified narcotics capability, ongoing patrol training, and a friendly, relaxed off-duty personality makes Ace a distinctive member of the department.
