As we enter the season of giving, we are excited to announce our initiative to provide 12 deserving police K9s with the gift of protection in the form of body armor this Christmas. K9s are not automatically issued ballistic vests, leaving them vulnerable in the line of duty. Together, we can help these 12 brave dogs receive the protection they need to serve their community safely.
Police K-9 Axe is a beautiful 2-year-old Belgian Malinois who hails from Gaffney Police Department, SC. Axe is a very happy dog who loves attention from anyone who will give it to him. However, when it comes time to work he is a strong, proactive dog and is a very protective of his handler. On off time you can always find this handsome boy with his purple and green football in his mouth.
Police K-9 Rasco is a beautiful 2-year-old German Shepherd who hails from the McHenry County Sheriff’s Office, ND. Rasco is a very energetic dog who loves to go to work and either find bad guys or narcotics. On time off he enjoys going on runs, playing with his most favorite thing in the entire world, his yellow ball and being lazy in his kennel.
Police K9 Jack is a beautiful 1-year-old Belgian Malinois who hails from the Duncanville Police Department, TX. Jack was born in Holland and came over to the U.S. with the drive to work. Jack is dual-certified and when he is working he likes to be very independent. Off duty, Jack loves to follow his dad and two human siblings around, usually asking to be petted or to be played with. Jack’s police department is coming off a 10-year hiatus from having a K9 unit so they are very excited to now have Jack as part of the team.
Police K-9 Drako is a beautiful 1-year-old Belgian Malinois who hails from the Harrison County Sheriff’s Office, IA. Drako is a silly dog who loves being with his family and playing with his fur brother, Mav. Drako is known to always ask for a second dinner. When it comes to work he’s all business and successful. He’s not afraid of anything and is all business. He loves to train as well. Drako was born in Hungary.
Police K-9 Bailey is a beautiful 4-year-old Labrador who hails from the Mount Olive Police Department, NC. Bailey was born in the Netherlands and is certified in narcotic detection, tracking and article searches. Bailey is very successful when it comes to making his streets safe. He’s a big boy, over 100lbs! On off time, Bailey loves running around and playing with his Chuckit ball.
Police K-9 Mako is a beautiful 2-year-old Dutch Shepherd who hails from the Cave City Police Department, KY. Mako is a very smart and hard working K9 who loves to please his handler. After each shift Mako enjoys running the baseball fields and playing fetch. Off duty he loves playing with his Kong and laying on the couch with his handler.
Police K-9 Odin is a beautiful 6-year-old Belgian Malinois who hails from the Troy Police Department, MO. Odin is a very hard working K9 who is often deployed during his shift. He has successfully recovered narcotics, located fleeing subjects, and is heavily involved in his community. On his off time he loves to spend time with his baby sister, play fetch and be outside exploring with his dad.
Szumo is a beautiful 4-year-old Belgian Malinois / German Shepherd who hails from The Gold Shield Security, PA. Szumo is an explosive detection K9 who does sweeps of buildings, parking lots and heavily populated Pittsburgh events. On days off you can often find him at a lake playing ball and swimming. He’s also known to love a good treat.
Police K-9 Bo is a beautiful 1-year-old Dutch Shepherd who hails from the Vacaville Police Department, CA. Bo is a dual purpose K9 plus is certified in bomb detection. He is the first bomb dog for his department. Off duty Bo loves to work out with his dad and will never pass up a run. If he had the chance Bo would play with his ball on a rope the entire day.
Police K-9 Ace is a beautiful 2-year-old Belgian Malinois who hails from the Centralia Illinois Police Department, IL. Ace loves all things work related. Each day he looks forward to helping patrol his community and help to keep his streets safe. On his time off Ace loves swimming in his pool that's in his kennel, playing fetch and hide and seek with his Kong. Ace is one good boy!
Police K-9 Kevin is a beautiful 5-year-old German Shepherd who hails from the Gaffney Police Department, SC. Kevin loves all things work related. His favorite is to find narcotics. Each day he looks forward to helping patrol his community and help to keep his streets safe. He looks forward to going home and playing with his favorite rubber ball and hanging out with his handler. Kevin all around is one good boy!
