As we wrap up the winter season of cold and dreariness, we happily welcome the warmth of sun and change of landscape which makes us feel more energized, optimistic, and hopeful. This Spring, Brady’s K9 Fund is highlighting 6 deserving K9s who serve their communities without the protection of body armor. Surprisingly, K9s are not automatically issued these ballistic vests. We are fixing that problem by giving them protection they can have for the remainder of their careers.
K-9 Kassie is a beautiful 3-year-old German Shepherd/Belgian Malinois mix who hails from the Many Police Department, LA. Kassie loves to protect her streets and she's pretty great at doing it! On her weekends off she loves to go camping with her family and play with her other two fur siblings and is always ready to play ball .
Police K-9 Max is a beautiful 2-year-old German Shepherd/Belgian Malinois mix who hails from the Connecticut Department of Corrections. Max just graduated from the 250th Connecticut State Police K9 Academy in December and loves to be at work. Off duty, Max loves to chew on just about anything. Max is a young boy so he will be protected for his entire career.
Police K-9 Wednesday is a beautiful 2-year-old Labrador who hails from the Amtrak Police Department, NY. Wednesday is an explosive detection K9 who protects the NYC and NJ Amtrak trains. Each day she comes in contact with a high concentration of people putting her in unsafe circumstances. While at home you can always find Wednesday carrying her pink stegosaurus around which she also sleeps with.
Police K-9 Buddy is a beautiful 2-year-old German Shepherd who hails from the North Myrtle Beach PD, SC. Buddy has a high work and high ball drive. He loves his Chuck-it ball and his Kong. Off duty, he enjoys spending time at home with his handler, human mom and human siblings. Buddy enjoys walks around the neighborhood with his fur brother Cash who is a retired K9. Buddy hit the streets in November.
Police K-9 Banks is a beautiful 2-year-old German Shepherd. He hails from the Chester County Prison, PA. Banks came to the USA from the Czech Republic. He is an extremely loyal and affectionate dog who is happiest while at work. He enjoys spending his days off with his family and taking long naps. Banks has never found a ball that he has not enjoyed fetching.
